Thermit® welding
Thermit® welding is classified as a safety critical activity. All operators must have successfully attended a training course approved by Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG and be in possession of a Diploma in Aluminothermic Welding of Rails for this Thermit® welding procedure.
Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG is recognized as a training establishment according to EN 14730-2:2006 chap. 3.7 at the following railway authorities: Lithuanian Railways, SNCF, INFRABEL, DB Netz AG, SBB, Portuguese Railways (IP Academy).
All below listed external training establishments have the acceptance of the process provider Elektro-Thermit GmbH & Co. KG in accordance with prEN 14730-2:2016 in the named processes.
